June 6-10 - SynodFest 2012 Family Reunion
A Family Reunion is a time to meet new friends and renew old acquaintances. Attend workshops; service projects; Bible study; worship, picnic and outdoor concert; Kings Island; or a Red's game. Registration forms and information are on a table in the narthex or you can click on the Southern Ohio Synod link on the left side of this page for more information and to register online. Registration deadline is May 23.
May 6 - June 24 - Adult Bible Study
"Life & Ministry of the Messiah" Pack your bags. We're going on a journey. A quest to uncover Scripture and its meaning across history. You will discover why Jesus turned the world upside down with his compelling call to follow him. Faith lessons on the Life and Ministry of the Messiah focus on the birth of Jesus, his life, and his short but powerful ministry---a ministry that has shaped empires and changed the course of history. All are welcome to attend this bible study startng on May 6 at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
May 8 & 22- Pathways of Hope
Pathways of Hope, a Hospice support group for men and women who have lost their spouses, meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 PM. The support group helps the bereaved deal with feelings of isolation with no outlet for their ongoing feelings of grief. Pathways of Hope is for anyone in the community who has lost a spouse.
May 27 - Pentecost Sunday
Come and worship with us on May 27th. We have two worship services. 8:30 am and 10:45 am. We celebrate the Spirit, through whom and in whom the people of God are created and re-created. Pentecost is sometimes called the church's birthday, but more appropriately its called baptism day, since the gift of the Spirit is the fullness of baptism.
May 28 - Memorial Day
